Welly, well, well, well. Here’s my inaugural post at my new home! What’s so great about having your own domain name? Well, for those of you who have been reading this blog, you know that I post an mp3 mix every week. My old host had a pretty severe limit on server space, so I spent a lot of time juggling files to make enough room to load the weekly Mix Six. By the way, I had other audio files on my old host’s site as well, but it seemed that it was just getting to be hit and miss when it came to the music stuff. Some weeks, it was no problem regarding server space. Other weeks, I’d be halfway through an upload and then a window would pop up and say “You’ve exceeded you server limitation.”
Boring tech stuff, I know. But this site will allow me to post more than just a weekly Mix Six. I plan on doing a lot more with audio and even video (if I get a camera).
Things that will remain the same:
1. Friday’s Mix Six.
2. Posts on politics, pop culture, and music.
Things that will change (for the better, I hope):
1. Music reviews.
2. A weekly podcast with Jefito on music.
With 14 gigs of space, this will allow me to get my audio ya ya’s out!
