Life in general

Happy 4th, and…

A belated happy anniversary to my wife. It’s not that I’m a bad husband and forgot about our wedding anniversary, it’s just that the two of us had planned to put a slide show (with commentary) on this blog to show family, friends, and anyone else who’s interested some photos of our wedding — which was 15 years ago as of yesterday. So I worked on syncing up the pictures with our commentary using iPhoto and it just took a long time to complete. I was working on it right up until the time we were going to go to dinner last night, and Julie just said, “Just leave it for tomorrow. Who’s checking blogs now, anyway?” But felt bad because, well, I wanted it to be timely. But, better late than never, right?

Okay, so here ’tis! Julie and I commenting on pictures taken at our wedding 15 years ago. It’s kind of long (about 16 minutes), so settle in and enjoy!

[Side note: I tried uploading this to You Tube, but because it’s over 10 minutes in length, they wouldn’t accept it. So, I found this new site called Exposure Room that is like You Tube — only better! There aren’t any restriction on file sizes, so that means the video playback quality is really great! So, I’m hoping the embedded player I’ve put on here works for you.]

  6. That was AWESOME and it was good to know what you sound like (and you do sound great, especially together). About the tumeric massage – it is said that tumeric is supposed to make your complexion and skin look better. I do it all the time, that’s why I sometimes have a yellowish tint on my skin. Kidding!

Happy belated anniversary! You and Julie make a fine couple. Here’s to many more years of togethernes. One more thing, did you have seven curries after the ceremony?

  7. WOW! What an amazing slideshow! That was awesome. I really enjoyed that! The commentary from both of you was wonderful! You guys are soooooo cute!!! Oh, and you BOTH have radio announcer voices!! You should have your own radio talk show! πŸ˜‰
