One of my My Space friends is Sting — which really means nothing except that I got to see a pretty interesting video on the band’s rehearsal before their tour. What I like about the video is how even though these guys are accomplished musicians who have played songs like “Spirits in the Material World” countless times, they look kind of unsure of their abilities during the run through of the song.
Just watching the video is getting me stoked about seeing them next week! The Police are one of my favorite bands, but I have never seen them live. My friend Jorge had tickets to what turned out to be their final tour in 1983, but I had to work, so I couldn’t go. Well, now that they have reunited for a greatest hits tour, there is no way in hell I’m going to miss them this time around.
