Rooks & Becords, Episode 2

Rooks & Becords Podcast, Episode 2

Well, looks like milk and cookies have kept me up at night because here’s the second episode of the Rooks & Becords podcast for your listening pleasure.

In this episode, I discuss the the following book that was published in 2019:

In the records department, I take a deep dive into The Seeds of Love by Tears for Fears

Sold out. Some copies are available at Amazon — but you’ll pay a steep price.

And finally, my good friend John Young joins me for a discussion on how influential the band KISS was on us as young kids — in a segment that John calls the KISS Korner.

Oh, and as an added bonus: John references a picture my stepdad took of me circa 1977 in my bedroom…looking sad about not being able to see the Love Gun Tour. So, here’s that so you don’t have to imagine me, my dog, and and my wall of KISS posters when I was a kid.

And this picture is so 1970s San Francisco. A woman walking a pet raccoon on Polk Street…and Rooks & Becords is in the background.

    1. I think you’ll like the book. It was pretty gripping at times…and because it’s about our generation, it makes it more relatable.
