On Saturday, we went to San Francisco to see J’s “boyfriend” Curtis Stone — who hosts the TLC show “Take Home Chef.” Like many folks, I have a digital camera with a video option, so I was able to capture the moment when J met Curtis during an in-store book signing at William-Sonoma. It was a fun trip and even though Maya was too shy to meet her future step father, we were able to get a semi-group shot of the star chef after he signed J’s cookbook.
I put together a little movie using iMovie and uploaded it to YouTube for your amusement. So, first go to J’s blog, have a read, and then enjoy the movie!

Maya was too shy to meet her step dad, but she heard you say Gwen Stafani is hot on the radio today, so she’s probably figuring that’s her step mom. 😉
Now wait a minute, here. I’m counting on you two staying together forever. I’m not sure I would like this Curtis person — although he can cook.
