Why not do the same and promote new projects. To wit: my colleague over at Popdose (Dw. Dunphy) has a new album coming out in the spring. And he’s cranking up the promotions machine so he can sell some copies. Here’s a short promo clip he put together to help spread the word:

Ahh the power of YouTube!
He has a couple of albums out, but this is his newest collection of songs.
I think Obama's You Tube vids are the 21st century's version of FDR's "fireside chats."
YouTube is an amazing vehicle for promotion!
I know! I posted a short one minute video on You Tube of Julie when she met Curtis Stone in San Francisco, and that's gotten over 12,000 views — and we're not promoting anything. It was just a home movie type of thing. 🙂
I'm amazed at the things people are doing on YouTube. I really like Obama's use of it as well.
You Tube is really a great source of entertainment. Obama… well, good for him.
